HAWKS TOPPED BY WILDCATS, 5-2
VILLANOVA, PA (4/07/02) -- The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team was topped by Villanova University 5-2 during Sunday afternoon's contest.
In singles action, #1 seed Francisco Velazquez downed Brad Adams 7-5, 6-4, while Shawn Farrokh topped A.J. Rohde in a thrilling three-set match 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 at the #2 slot.
In doubles action, Villanova was victorious winning both matches.
The Hawks, now 7-11, will play Temple in a make-up match, Tueday on Finnesey Courts.
