PHILADELPHIA (05/06/03) – Sophomore goaltender Courtney Huff was recently selected to the Upper Atlantic Region second team and will compete at the US Lacrosse Women's Division I National Tournament at Lehigh University. The tournament will take place over Memorial Day weekend, May 23-26. The tournament pits teams from the New York, Mid-Atlantic, Upper Atlantic, Lower New England, South East, Great Lakes, Connecticut, North and South Carolina Regions. Started in 1933, this event brings together regional club and regional high school all-star teams from across the country to compete in lacrosse. National Tournament, which is considered the country's premier women's lacrosse event of the year features nearly 60 teams at the club and high school levels. The event also serves as a showcase for players looking to make the U.S. National and Developmental teams. Huff started every game in the net for Saint Joseph's, compiling an 8.24 goals against average, which led the Atlantic 10. She sported a save percentage of .498 and helped SJU to a 4-11 record this spring.
