HAWKS TO HOST TWO INDOOR CLINICS
PHILADELPHIA (11/11/03) – The Saint Joseph's University women's soccer team, under the direction of third year head coach Jess Reynolds, will host two girls' soccer clinics at SJU's Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse this winter. The dates are January 11, 2004 (9.am.-3 p.m.) and February 8, 2004 (12 p.m.-5 p.m.).
Open to girls aged 6-17 and of all ability levels, the clinic is intended for players to refresh their skills during the off-season or prepare for the upcoming spring season. Reynolds and members of the women's soccer team will serve as staff members.
The day will include individual instruction on foot skills, passing and receiving, as well as games of “Street Soccer” and 5v5 scrimmages. Players must bring a water bottle, bag lunch, indoor shoes/sneakers, shin guards, and soccer balls. The camp concludes at 3 p.m.
The cost for the clinic is $50 and includes a t-shirt. There is also a $10 discount if the camper attends both clinics. Coaches and parents can register by calling head coach Jess Reynolds at (610) 660-3367 or emailing her at jreynold@sju.edu.
